Emporia high school beat Carthage high school tonight in the first round of the Ralph Miller classic.
Topeka Water Tower at Sunet
Played around with the drone a little bit this evening in Topeka Kansas. It got a little darker than I would’ve liked. I should’ve been out there about 10 to 15 minutes earlier I think it would’ve looked better. But pret pleased how it turned out. Give it a watch and let me know what you think.
Council Grove Lake
Last summer may be the last summer of going to Council Grove Lake. We are looking at slipping our boat at Pomona Lake this summer. Had a lot of great times at the CG lake. But as the kids move older and out, we have more friends at Pomona and may use it more with them!

First attempt at a snow time lapse
Make my first attempt a day at a timelapse snow video. Not as much action as I would have liked. However towards the end I got a little bit better.
Who are we?
We are a busy growing family of six growing kids, a grandson, 2 dogs, and a busy life. In this blog you will mainly see the adventures of our busy life. Two of the boys (18 & 17) play high school sports at Emporia High School (football, basketball, golf, and track). There will be a lot of pictures of these events. The oldest child has married and moved to North Dakota to live closer to her husbands family. She has a son, Gregory, a few months old now. The youngest child is a junior in high school who is interested in nursing, and the other 2 have graduated high school and are attending college.
Tammy is a nurse manager at a clinic in Emporia, Kansas. Chris is a manager for a large car dealership in Topeka, Kansas. While we are both amateur photographers, Chris will be the one making a majority of the posts and adding the photos.
We live in the small town of Allen, Kansas, just north of Emporia and in Lyon county Kansas.
My “Real Job”
From time to time, you will see post of cars that I like on here. I am in a unique position to see a lot of cars because of my real job. I am a new car sales manager for Ed Bozarth Chevrolet Buick GMC and Cadillac in Topeka Kansas. I’ve been in the car business for over 10 years, and truly love my job. There’s nothing better than seeing the joy in a customers face after they get their dream vehicle, their first vehicle, or a new vehicle to them that they are really excited about. That being said, I spend the majority of my time looking at a show room full of really cool cars. From time to time I will share some unique vehicles on here.
